Cities consists of different information systems and sources for performing activities which needs to be communicated and integrated with each other, but these information systems are developed from a variety of technology platforms. This is a challenge for creating communication and integration among them. Service oriented architecture is a suitable paradigm to overcome this service integrity and interoperability challenges in a city services. In this research work we have studied a variety of problems facing in service integration and focusing the benefits of service oriented architecture and developed an architecture to alleviate those challenges for efficient access and accurate delivery of services for consumers. Therefore we proposed a seven layered service oriented architecture for service integrity in Debre Markos city.
