A Field Experiment Was Conducted At Kulumsa Agricultural Research Center To EvaluatePerformance Data For Different Tillage Implements Under Different Soil And Working Conditions Through Field Performance Evaluation Evaluate The Performance Of Three Tillage Implements On Two Different Soil Types (Sandy Clay Loam And Clay Loam Soil) In Terms Of Their Effects On Soil Bulk Density, Soil Moisture Content, Draft Force, Fuel Consumption, Wheel Slippage And Field Efficiency. The Implements Were Moldboard Plow, Disc Plow (Primary Tillage Implement), And Disk Harrow (Secondary Tillage Implement) Under Three Different Operating Speeds (16.5 (S1), 17.5 (S2), And 18.5 (S3) Km Hr-1. The Speed Of The Tractor Was Determined Based On Tractor Horsepower, Implement Weight, And Depth Of Tillage For This Work. Results Showed That The Efficiency Of The Disc Plough Was Highest On Clay Loam Soil With An Efficiency Of 91.82% And The Least Was On Sandy Clay Loam Soil. Disc Plow-Tractor Attachment Was Less Fuel Consumed Than Dis Harrow And Moldboard Plow. Comparison Between Implements, Disc Plow Efficiency Was Higher Than Disc Harrow Or Moldboard Plow Reduction In The Bulk Density Of The Soil Enhances The Field Performance Of The Implements. The Ranges In Implement Draft, Fuel Consumption And Other Parameters Indicated That Substantial Energy Savings Can Be Readily Obtained. The Ranges In Implement Draft, Fuel Consumption And Other Mentioned Parameters Indicated That Substantial Energy Savings Can Be Readily Obtained By Selecting Energy-Efficient Tillage Implements And By Proper Matching Of The Tractor Size And Operating Parameters To The Tillage Implement. So, Disc Plow-Tractor Attachment Was Less Fuel Consumed Than Dis Harrow And Moldboard Plow.en_US
