Abstract
Today cloud computing is the most elevating innovation due to its
revolutionary and momentous power. In cloud computing, task scheduling
plays a key role in improving the performance of a cloud system. It plays a vital
role in succeeding high-level performance and throughput by having the highest
benefit from the resources. Improving job scheduling algorithms will improve
the quality of service, resulting in greater cloud computing system
sustainability. The task scheduling algorithm is primarily concerned with
achieving proficiency and ensuring fairness in the execution of tasks. In this
paper, we concentrate on Task scheduling algorithms and on approaches that
are meant to generate effective schedules. We have proposed a novel technique
which is called variance considered Round Robin (VCRR) task scheduling
algorithm. In comparison to several studied algorithms, the experimental
findings generated using the Cloud-Analyst tool showed that VCRR greatly
improved the average waiting time, turnaround time, context switch, and
response time
