The Presence Of Industrial Dye In Water Leads To Contamination And Poses Significant Health Risks. Removing Dye From Wastewater Is Crucial For Obtaining Clean Water. One Effective Method For This Is Using Semiconductors As Photocatalysts In An Advanced Oxidation Process. Among These Photocatalysts, Mof Semiconductors Stand Out As A Cost-Effective, Environmentally Friendly, And Sustainable Option For Degrading Dyes In Wastewater. However, Mil-53(Al) Has Limitations Such As A Large Band Gap And Low Efficiency In Degrading Dyes. In This Thesis, A Wet Chemical Ultrasonic-Assisted Synthesis Method Was Used To Synthesize G-C3n4/Mil-53(Al)/Cuo Heterojunction Photocatalysts. These Photocatalysts Showed Improved Light Absorbance, Surface Area, And Efficient Separation Of Charge Carriers. Characterization Techniques Such As X-Ray Diffraction, Scanning Electron Microscopy, Uv-Vis Diffuse Reflectance Spectroscopy, Photoluminescence Spectroscopy, Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy, And Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy Were Employed. The Composite Exhibited A Redshifted Optical Absorption In The Visible Range And A Decrease In Photoluminescence Intensity, Indicating Enhanced Separation Of Electron-Hole Pairs. The Photocatalytic Activity Of The Pure Mil-53(Al) And G-C3n4/Mil-53(Al)/Cuo Was Tested By Degrading Methylene Blue Dye, Resulting In A Degradation Efficiency Of 30% And 96.5% At Ph 7 In 0.03 G Of Catalyst Concentration In 10 Ppm Of Mb Solution Within 120 Minutes Of Irradiation Respectively. The Superior Performance Of The G-C3n4/Mil-53(Al)/Cuo Composite Can Be Attributed To Factors Such As Reduced Recombination, Lower Electron Transfer Resistance, High Visible Light Absorption, And Minimal Agglomeration. Thus, The Preparation Of G-C3n4/Mil-53(Al)/Cuo Photocatalysts Represents A Promising Approach For The Degradation Of Dyes Under Visible Light.en_US
