An Electronic mobility device is an assistive or guidance for those people who are visually impaired to move from one to another place. The Visually impaired people are more prone to accidents, because, they cannot clearly discern their surrounding environment and trying their best to be normal and comfortable in the surroundings. For this reason, we are implementing an electronic mobility device using infrared sensor in order to identifying the presence and absence of objects in between the device and objects within 150 cm distance range to avoid hitting with obstacles. The implemented device contains 9V rechargeable battery, transmitter for scanning the surroundings object, receiver for receiving the reflected back signal by the objects and output buzzer for warning the user about the surrounding objects. This device will become a great help to them and able to detect the obstacle in the distance rangeen_US
