| dc.description.abstract | Access To Health Facilities In Many Low - Income And Middle-Income Countries Remains Low, With A Strong Association Between Individuals??? Distance To Facilities And Health Outcomes. Arada Sub-City Is The Oldest Of All Sub-Cities Located In The Central Part Of The Capital City Of Addis Ababa. Emergency Medical Services (Ems) Is A System That Provides Emergency Medical Care. Once A Serious Illness Or Injury-Causing Incident Activates It. According To Observations In Arada Sub City, The Problem Of Sudden Mortality Is Primarily Caused By Traffic Accidents. The Arrival Of The Ambulance In Time Is Very Low Due To This; People With Different Accidents Are At High Risk Of Sudden Death. The Objective Of This Study Is Using Gis In The Shortest Routes Of Path For Ambulance Services Systems By Using Network Analysis Technique In Arada Sub City: In This Study, A Detail Gis Database Of The Road Network, Ambulance Locations, Accident Site And Hospitals Were Prepared Using Arcgis Pro Software With The Extension Of Network Analyst. The Main Technical Implementation Was Conducted Based On Esri???S Arcgis Network Analysis Tool; After Building Network Topology And Network Dataset. The Network Analysis Was Performed To Identify The Closest Healthcare Facility And The Fastest Route Depending On The Accident Location. In Order To Determine The Closest Facility And Best Route Analysis During The Study, Seventeen Ambulance Stations, Nine Accident Locations, And Twenty-Four Hospitals Were Used. As A Result, Three Closest Facility The Ambulances Reach The Accident Site, Fastest Path From Ambulance To Accident Site And Then To Health Center And Ambulances Allow To Use Both Major & Local Roads During Peak Hours Since The Routes Are Congested Respectively. The Results Mainly Focus On The Analysis Of The Results And Discussion Of Simulation Results As Well As The Shortest Routes. Implementing The Network Dataset By Calculating The Closest Emergency Ambulance Service Facility For Emergency Incidents And Finding Shortest Possible Path For Ambulance Vehicles Will Accomplishes The Study Effectively. In The Future, It Will Be Necessary To Verify The Road Data, Including Traffic Speed Mode, Pavement Quality, And One-Way Streets, By Driving Through The Research Area. This Study Recommend That Emergency Dispatch System Must Build By Modernizing The Existing Technology. And Also Developed Network Datasets Are Important Entities For Further Analysis In Fire And Police Dispatch In The Network Analysis Environment. | en_US |
