Abstract

The study was designed to assess the influence of resources on strategic plan implementation in public health centers in Adama city. A sample of 118 professional and supportive staff including employees and management of four public health centers was taken for the study using simple random sampling technique. From the distributed 118 questionnaires 98 were returned. The data collected through questionnaire is analyzed using both descriptive and inferential statistics (Pearson’s product moment correlation coefficient and Multiple Linear Regression Model). The empirical finding elucidated that resource related factors that influence strategic plan implementation include; human resources, material resources, and financial resources has statistically significant relationship and positively influence strategic plan implementation of PHC in Adama city. The finding further indicate that, the existence of linear and positive significant, ranging from weak to strong relationship was found between independent variables and dependent variable. Based on the findings suggestions to HCs and HO, and recommendations for further studies were forward.
