dc.description.abstractNatural Herbal Ointments Consist Of Many Beneficiary Properties That Are Promising For Antimicrobials And Antioxidants As Alternative Agents, Thereby Exerting Fewer Side Effects And Toxicity Compared To Synthetic Ointments. The Present Study Involved Extracting The Oil, Quantifying The Phytochemical, Antioxidant, And Antimicrobial Activities Of P. Falcatus Seed Oil And A. Vera Extract, And Incorporating Its Extract Into An Ointment Excipient. P. Falcatus OilWas Extracted Using Ethanol Solvent By The Soxhlet Extraction Method At The Optimum Extraction Temperature Of (70??C), Time (4 Hr), Solvent-To-Solid Ratio (17.5 V/W) And Yields29.49% By Rsm. Whereas, A.Vera Extract Was Obtained By Employing A Couple Of Oven DriersAnd Vacuum Rotary Evaporation After A Clear A Vacuum Pump Filtered Liquid Juice. From The Results Of Phytochemical And Antioxidant Investigations, P. Falcatus Seed Oil, A. Vera Gel, AndIts Extract Contain The Tpc (10.25, 1.2, And 22.8) Mg Gae/G Of Extract; Tfc (1.414, 0.208,And 5.29) Mg Qe/G Of Extract; And Ic50 Values Of 4.23, 22.48, And 2.68% Mg/Ml, Respectively.The Potential Diameter Inhibition Activities Of The Extracts Against Mos Were Determined ViaAn Agar Diffusion Assay. Aloe Vera Extract Has Exhibited A Significant Inhibition Zone Against All The Tested Mos, Especially E. Coli And P. Aeruginosa, As Compared To Its Gel. However ,P. Falcatus Seed Oil Did Not Exhibit The Minimum Inhibition Diameter Of The Tested Mos. The Crude Extracts Of P. Falcatus Oil And A. Vera Extract Were Instrumentally Characterized By Ft-Ir And Gc-Ms To Identify The Functional Group And Biologically Active Compound Present InThe Extracts. From The Ftir Spectral Study, The Existence Of Different Functional Groups ThatMight Be Assigned To Alcohols, Phenols, Fatty Acids, And Amines Was Observed. Whereas TheGc-Ms Analysis Revealed The Presence Of Fifteen And Nine Biologically Active Components In A.Vera And P. Falcatus Seed Oil, Respectively. Those Instruments Justified The Presence Of Various Phytoconstituents That Promised Therapeutic Activities And Applicability In Different Medicinal Values. The Phytochemical, Antimicrobial, And Antioxidant Activities Of TheFormulated Ointment Were Evaluated. From Its Physiochemical Analysis, It Has A Ph Of 6.67,Spreadability Of 56.78 G*Cm/S, And Viscosity Of 4122.15 Cp, Whereas Its Mean Inhibition Diameter From The Least Resistance To Highest Sensitive Against Mos In Ranges Are 16.66 Mm To21 Mm. The Half-Maximum Inhibition Concentration Against Free Radicals Is 1.12 Mg/Ml.en_US
