Abstract

Public Transport Is Concerned About The Basic Modes Of Transportation That Are Made Available For People To Travel From Place To Place. Minibuses Are The Most Important Local Public Transport. The Motion Of An Overloaded And Unstable Vehicle Has Consequences That Speed Up The Deterioration Of Roadway. Controlling Overload And Instability Are Fundamental For The Wellbeing Of Passengers And Vehicle Possessors From Unexpected Destruction. Based On The Above Issues, The Driving Assistance System Is Designed And Developed To Avoid Overload And Maintain Driving Stability. It Uses Sensors To Detect Vehicle Overload And Instability, And Then Transmits The Appropriate Data To Microprocessor, Which Then Executes The Instruction. If The Weight On The Vehicle Is The Same As The Weight That The Vehicle Was Built To Carry, Then The Vehicle Can Be Operated At Its Maximum Safe Load Limit And Warning Systems Will Be Activated. Buzzer Provides Audio Signaling Along With Led Flashing Light Which Informs The Vehicle Is Escaping The Safe Load Limit Status And It Is About To Overload. As The Weight On The Vehicle Exceeds The Gross Weight Of The Vehicle, The System Disables The Fuel Cut-Off Solenoid And No Fuel Delivered To The Engine. This System Uses Gps And Gsm For Sms Messages Service With Location Coordinates To Be Linked To Nearby Transportation Authorities. When The Vehicle Is Moving, The System Detects Its Instability And Warns The Driver. The System Sends A Warning Signal When The Strain Value Exceeds The Specified Reference Value. The Optimum Strain And Maximum Safe Speed Obtained For This System Are 0.03 And 24.37 Km/Hr, Respectively. One Of The Front Wheels Is Able To Carry 10.24 Kn And One Of The Rear Wheels Is Able To Carry 11.52 Kn The Vehicle Should Not Be Driven Beyond The Reference Strain, Safe Speed And Load; Otherwise, The Vehicle May Lose Control And Become Unstable. Therefore, The Driver Assistance System Reduces The Possibility Of The Vehicle Rollover, Help Maintain Stability Under Different Road Conditions, And Minimize Accidents And Injuries Due To Overload And Instability
