Abstract
Ethiopia Automotive Industries Imported Engine From Different Foreign Countries To Assembling For Domestic Market. Now A Days The Country Is One Of The Fastest Growing Economy From Agricultural Lead To Industries Lead Agriculture Transformation As A Result The Government Policy Is Highly Encourage The Industries To Manufacture All Parts Of Car Engine Made In Ethiopia. With The Soon To Be Inaugurated Engine Factory They Will Be Able To Assemble And Manufacture Some Of The Models As 100% Made In Ethiopia, But Still Lack Of Indigenous Skilled Man Power To Design Engine Affecting The Industries As Well As The Country??S Economy. In Case Of This To Transfer The Technology To Ethiopia, Crank And Valve Gear Mechanism Is Designed. If The Industries Starts Manufactured The Price Of The Car Will Reduced. The Crank Gear Mechanism And Valve Gear Mechanism Will Be Designed With C++, Modeled Using Cad And Simulated Using 3ds Max. The Aim Of This Thesis Is To Design, Simulate And Model A Real Engine Crank Gear Mechanism And Valve Gear Mechanism, Having Into Account All Necessary Calculations Concerning With Kinematics, Dynamics And Strength Calculation Of Basic Details Of Compression Ignition Working Internal Combustion Engine. Studies Have Found No Alternative Type That Well Designed Parts Promises To Have Significant Advantage In Fuel Economy Or Pollution Control Than The Existing Ic Engines Parts. This Work Can Be The Base For Future Detailed Designing Work Of Ic Engine Along With Stress, Kinematics Analysis And Simulation. This Paper Comes Up With Design Aspects Includes Components Like, Piston, Piston Rings, Cylinder, Connecting Rod, Crank And Crank Shaft, Cam And Cam Shaft Along With Valve And Valve Gear Mechanism. The Results Of The Program (C++) As Well As Data Generated In The Analysis Indicated There Was A Significant Difference Between The Existing Engine Part And The Newly Designed Engine In Diameter Almost All Parts And Bearing Pressures. The Newly Designed Engine Parts Totally Prevent Failerity Piston Deformation And Increasing Strength. In Size Compare To Analysis, The Diameter
