Nowadays Due To The Rapid Development Of Urbanization And? Industrialization? Experiencing A Negative Impact On Ambiant Air Quality, Threatens The Health Of A Large Fraction Of The World???S Population. The Aim Of This Study Is To Evaluate The Ambient Air Quality Status In Bishoftu, Oromia National Regional State, Ethiopia. Cross-Sectional Study Was Conducted From December 01, 2019 To June 18, 2020. A Total Of 33 Sample Sites Were Selected Using Simple Random And Stratified Sampling Methods To Cover The Cores And Peripheries Of The City. Ambiant Air Pollutant Concentration Data Where Measured With Electronic Instruments In All Sample Sites. The Mean Average Concentration Of All Pollutant In Bishoftu Town Shows The Concentration Of Pm2.5 Was 94.8??G/ M3, Which Was 3.8 Times More Than The Daily Who Air Quality Guidelines (25??G/ M3), and 1.46 Times More than the Ethiopia Air Quality Guidelines (65??G/ M3) .The Mean Concentration of Pm10 Was 220.3??G/ M3, Which Was 4.4 Times More Than The Daily Who Air Quality Guidelines (50??G/ M3), and 1.46 Times More than Ethiopia Air Quality Guidelines (150??G/ M3). The Mean Concentration Of So2 Was 1166.7??G/ M3, Which Was 2.33 Times More Than The Daily Who Air Quality Guidelines (500??G/ M3), and Ethiopia Air Quality Guidelines (500??G/ M3) Respectively. From Land Uses Which Are Considered In This Study Commercial, Residential, Recreational And Industrial Site, Industry Site Record Highest Mean Average Concentration Of Pm2.5, Pm10, So2 Were Recorded, Which Is 510.9??G/M3, 1282.8??G/M3 and 1172.5??G/M3 Respectively Which Is Higher Than The Who Air Quality Guideline And Ambient Environment Standards For Ethiopia 2003. While The Mean Concentration Of Co And No2 Were Below The Who Air Quality Guideline And Ambient Environment Standards For Ethiopia 2003. This Implies That Industrial Zone Was One Of The Main Agents That Causes Air Pollution In Bishoftu Town. Furthermore, Bishoftu Environmental Protection Authority and Others Stakeholders Should Give Attention for Industrial Emission of Air Pollution, And Air Quality Management Plan in Bishoftu Townen_US
