Abstract

Superconductivity Is The Phenomenon Where The Resistivity Falls To Zero Below A Certain Critical Temperature Tc. Currently Many Report Indicated That Hydrogen Rich Compound Shows The Highest Tc In The History Of Superconductivity. Most Of The Experimental And Theoretical Works Has Been Done Under Pressure. But The Nature Of The Electronic Band Structure And Dos Was Not Well Explained As Far As Our Knowledge Concerns. In This Thesis We Studied Electronic Structure Of Lahx (X=1, 3, 4, 6) Superconductor By Using Density Functional Theory (Dft) As Implemented In Quantum Espresso. The Band Structure And Dos Of Lah1 And Lah3 Does Not Show Superconductivity And Lah4 And Lah6 Shows Superconductivity In Agreement With The Experimental Reports. With Increasing Hydrogen Atom Critical Temperature Increase From 176.8k (For Lah4) To 183.6k (For Lah6).
