dc.description.abstractRenewable energy is gaining popularity in these days due to the large number of benefits offered by them.The movement towards acquisition of renewable energy resource (RES) aiding in the redaction of negative impact to the environment. Off grid Hybrid Solar energy with generator is one of alternative means of technique to get solution for problem of power blackout. Photovoltaic/diesel/battery power system can be used to elevate power generation system for residual home, industry, and commercial as well as make balance the generated power with load consumption. This system has been attracting to supply electricity to rural areas like, Sustainability, reliability and protection of surrounding environment and it’s also improve the problem of power blackout. The current study focus on investigate the technical and economic analysis of optimal sizing off-grid/ hybrid solar power system for military camp. Different appliances in the building selected and assessment made on their energy consumption considering time their use at day and night. In addition to this the study uses numerical investigation by using HOMER Software to optimize the size, cost and sensitivity analysis of load and MATLAB software for modeling of PV system. The result shows that PV system with optimal size of 21.2 KW and 48V, 600Ah, battery on the technical and total net present cost $17139, levelized cost of energy result $ 0.426/KWh and operating cost $6,562/yr. in economical result. Also Homer simulations optimize different possibilities. But, in Thesis PV/Battery, off-grid hybrid/Generator and Only backup generator have been compared. For the proposed site based on the amount of radiation and weather condition, off-Hybrid with generator technique is economical, very little pollutant of environment and efficient method relative other two.en_US
