Abstract

In An Urban Area Land Is One Of The Natural Resources That Provide The Physical Location For Shelter, Farming, Commerce, Industry And Other Public Services For Humankind In Urban Areas. Thus, Wise Utilization Of This Vital Resource Is Very Important Through Some Systematic Framework, Planning And Managing Techniques. The Main Problems, Which Initiate Need Of A New Cadastral System In Adama City, Incomplete Land Registration, Lack Of Title For Residents?? Propertyless, Land Disputes, Insecure Land Data, Land Corruption, Inefficient Land Banking, Inefficient Land Transfer, Poor Land Taxation System, Illegal Constructions, Outdated Land Data, Misuse Of Land, Under Use Of Land, Incompetent Urban Sprawl, Incompetent Master Plan, Less Adoption Of Technology And Inefficient Land Valuation. This Research Is Mainly Focused Adama City Cadastral Information System Assessment In Order To Find Improvement Possibilities Of The System. The Analysis Starts By Identifying Globally Accepted Indicators Used To Advance Cadastral System Of Adama City And Then Design The Future Cadastral Advancement Using Conceptual And Logical Modeling Finally Test The Feasibility And Implementation Of Conceptual Model Of Cadaster To The City. The Result Shows That Cadastral Maps And Cadastral Conceptual And Logical Models Created To Show Adama City Cadastral Information System Improvement Possibilities. Therefore, The Findings Of This Study Are Important In Re-Designing Operation Of The Future Adama City Cadaster Intent To Develop Comprehension, Updated, Secured, Reliable, And Complete Cadastral Information.
