dc.description.abstractComposites Made Up Of Heterogeneous (Physically And Chemically) Phases Have The Potential To Be Used In The Automotive, Aerospace, Construction, Marine, And Research Industries. Natural Fiber Composite (Nfc) Materials Are Gaining Popularity Due To Their Eco-Friendliness, Lightweight Nature, Life-Cycle Superiority, Low Cost, And Acceptable Specific Strength Properties With High Toughness. This Thesis Investigated The Optimization Of Drilling Parameters For Composites Fabricated From Bamboo/Sisal Fibers Reinforced With Varying Concentrations Of Alumina. The Primary Objective Was To Enhance The Efficiency And Quality Of Drilling Operations By Determining The Optimal Settings For Spindle Speed, Feed Rate, AndDrill Diameter Using Design Expert Software And The Box-Behnken Design, A Robust Response Surface Methodology (Rsm). Composite Samples Were Fabricated With Different Alumina Concentrations, And Their Mechanical And Physical Characterizations Of The Composite Material Were Conducted. For Drilling Operation Experimental Trials Were Conducted AtSpindle Speeds Of 500 Rpm, 750 Rpm, 1250 Rpm; Feed Rates Of 0.03 Mm/Rev, 0.06 Mm/Rev, 0.12Mm/Rev; And Drill Diameters Of 3 Mm, 6 Mm, 12 Mm On The Cnc Machine . A Zeta-20, 3dOptical Surface Roughness Measuring Instrument Was Used To Determine The Surface Roughness Value. Delimitation And Circularity Were Measured In Image Software. A Genetic Algorithm Was Employed Using Matlab, Targeting The Minimization Of Surface Roughness, Delimitation And Circularity.en_US
