Abstract
The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between attitude training, readiness, resistance, team work and perceived organizational support towards the application of kaizen practice in Wonji Shoa Sugar Factory . The study participants were selected from three departments which are found in the factory, namely: Supply and Facility Management, Agricultural operation and Factory Operation. The sample size was 150 (male 123, female 27) respondents between age of 18 to 46 years old selected by stratified simple random sampling from Wonji Shoa Sugar Factory. The data for this study were collected by survey questionnaires developed by the researcher and analyzed by descriptive statistics, Regression analysis, Correlation, F-tests and t-test comparison (independent Samples t-test). The result of this study showed that training, team work and perceived organizational Support were positively and significantly correlated with the employees’ attitude towards the application of kaizen practice. Whereas readiness and resistance were positively correlated and had no significant impact on employees’ attitude towards the application of kaizen practice. Based on the findings, training, team work and perceived organizational support needed due attention by the organization for better application of kaizen practice whereas, employees in the factory didn’t have a problem of readiness and resistance for the application of kaizen.
