Abstract
The study was on the Impact of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Education on the field of Study of post graduate students in the Adama Science and Technology University, School of Applied Natural Science. The respondents used for the study were eighty ( 80) from the total population of one hundred seventy six (176) of Adama Science and Technology school of Applied natural science post graduate students. The instrument used for the study were questioner and interview. The data collected were statistically analyzed using frequency percentage, mean and standard deviation using SPSS version16 related literatures were reviewed. The results of the present study indicated that 67.5% didn’t have ICT knowledge education. The result 72.4% indicated that ICT increases the students performance and 77.5% of the respondent also indicated that they didn’t have computer skill this indicated problems with different application software during their thesis work .71.5% of the respondent indicated that ICT had better integration with post graduate students rather than other students this indicated post graduate students had great challenges when they choice and study their field effectively. 67.5% of the respondent didn’t taking any training so far this indicated that post graduate students had problem to under the course and to contact with instructer,54% of the respondent they didn’t have regular access in their work place this indicated that they were knew for technology problem to get information from the world using websites to do their work successfully.
