Water Is Contaminated By Various Dyes That Toxic To Living Things .Photocatalysis Essential To Remove This Dyes From Wastewater. Ag3po4 Is A Good Candidate For The Degradation Of Dyes In Wastewater. However, The Photocatalytic Activity Of Ag3po4 Is Limited Due To Photo Corrosion, Instability Issues, And A High Recombination Rate. In This Work, Y(Zn1-Xcuxo)/Z(Ag3po4)Composites Were Synthesized By In Situ Precipitation Where Y=2.5,5,10% And Z=97.5,95,90%Followed By Characterizations Using Xrd,Uv-Visible Diffuse Reflectance Spectroscopy (Uv Drs), Photoluminescence Spectroscopy (Pl), Ft-Ir, And Thermal Analysis By (Tga And Dta), Scanning Electron Microscopy(Sem). The Peak Of Cu Doped Zno Was Not Observed On The Xrd Of The Composites Because Of Its Small Amount. The Formation Of The Composite Was Confirmed By Ft-Ir Peaks Of Ag3po4 Shift From 1003cm-1To 989cm-1In The Composite. The Band Gap Of Cu Doped Zno And Zno Was Calculated From Uv-Drs Data And Found That 3.24ev And 3.24ev. The Pl Spectrum Of Composite Showed Lower Intensity Which Indicates A Lower Recombination Rate Of Charge Carrier Than Cu Doped Zno And Ag3po4. The Removal Efficiencies Of The Composite, Zn1-Xcuxo, And Ag3po4 Were Evaluated By Uv-Visible Spectroscopy. The Optimum Degradation Of Methylene Blue From Aqueous Solutions Using Zn1-Xcuxo And Y(Zn1-Xcuxo)/ Z(Ag3po4) Was Observed At X=0.01,Y=0.05 And Z=0.95.Then, The Removal Efficiency Of Zn0.99cu0.01o Was 88%As Compared With That Of Pristine Zno Because It Has Small Particle Size. The Maximum Degradation Efficiency Of The Composite Was Observed At A Ph Value Of 10 Was 95% And AtCatalyst Dose Of 0.0444g/L Was 97%. The Degradation Efficiency Of0.5(Zn0.99cu0.01o)/0.95(Ag3po4 )Composite Was 94% Greater Than That Of Zn0.99cu0.01o Of 88% And Greater Than That Ag3po4 Of 82% Because The Recombination Rate Was Reduced SignificantlyAnd It Was Stable When It Used For Three-Round Test . Therefore, 0.5(Zn0.99cu0.01o)/0.95(Ag3po4)Composites Are A Promising Candidate Material For The Removal Of Methylene Blue From Aqueous Solution.en_US
