Abstract
His Study Is Conducted To Assess The Project Management Maturity Level And Identify Project Maturity Model Appropriate To Oromia Construction Corporation With Specific Objectives Of Measuring And Identifying Actual Project Maturity Level Of The Organization. The Scope Of The Study Is Limited To Be Focused On Measuring Project Management Maturity Of Some Survey Questionnaire Taking Random Samples Of Staff Members In The Organization. The Maturity Assessment Is Based OnA Five-Level Project Management Maturity Model Devised By Pm Solutions. The Study?�?S Research Design Is Descriptive And The Research Approach Is Mixed (Qualitative And Quantitative). The Sample Size Of The Study Is Sixty-Four Respondents Of The Questionnaire That Are Project Managers, Engineers, Planner And Others Who Participate For The Implementation Of Projects. The Sampling Technique Used Is Non-Probability Purposive Sampling. Hence, Survey Questionnaire And Interview Is Prepared Based On Pm Solutions Assessment Check List To Assess The Project Management Maturity Of Oromia Construction Corporation. Primary And Secondary Method Of Data Collection Is Used From Respondents And Detail Literatures Respectively. Then The Data Collected Is Analyzed Using Statistical Software Package (Spss V.26) And Microsoft Excel. Results Indicate That The Project Management Maturity Level Of The Organization Is Found To Be At Level 3.15. This Shows That The Organization Is At Good Performance Level But Needs Improvement On Each Project Management Knowledge Areas In Order To Level Up The Maturity Level To The Next And The Highest Maturity Level Of The Organization.
