The Impact Of Land Administration Practices On Sustainable Development Performance Of Adama City

Abstract

Land Administration Is One Of The Most Important Tools That All Urban Cities Around Globe Use To Develop Their Performances. The Main Aim Of The Study Was To Examine The Impact Of Land Administration Practices On Sustainable Development Performance Of Adama City. To Study The Impact Of Land Administration Practices Four Dimensions Of Land Administration Practices Were Used As Independent Variables And Tests The Respondents Understanding Perspectives On The Impact Of Land Administration Practices On Sustainable Development. The Study Used A Mixture Of Quantitative And Qualitative Research Approaches And Techniques To Achieve The Intended Objectives. From The Total Target Population A Sample Of 512 Employees, Residents And Informal Settlers Was Taken As A Sample Based On Carvalho ,1984 Sample, Using Non Probability Sampling Techniques. A Questionnaire Was Used As A Research Tool For The Collection Of Data. Collected Data Was Analyzed Through Spss Version 25 By Running Descriptive Statistics, Correlation And Regression. From The Result Of The Analysis It Is Concluded That There Is Strong Relationship Between Land Administration And Sustainable Development Performance. Besides, Land Registration Practices, Tenure Security Practices, Land Use Practice And Good Governance In Land Administration Practice Significantly And Positively Affected Sustainable Development Performance Of The City. In Order To Maximizing The Potential Benefit Of The City Land And Build Wealthy Community, It Is Better For The Land Organizations To Give Due Attention On Those Land Administration Practices For More Improvement Of Sustainable Development Performance.
