Abstract
The crucial reason for conducting this research was to investigate the role of organizational communication in enhancing employees’ productivity in the case of Burie Kool and Mineral Water Company. It defines organizational communication and presents its various objectives. The researcher used explanatory or causal research design. Random sampling techniques specifically lottery system used in selecting the respondents. Questionnaires were administered to the respondents to get the needed information. The paper reviews the literature investigating the relationship between communication and employees productivity. Therefore, it can be concluded that organizational communication has a positive relationship with productivity of employees.
The paper offers conceptual model, which identifies different variables that facilitating effective communication and finally ensuring employees productivity. In addition, it highlights the aspects of organizational communication that has proven to be useful for employees’ productivity in business organizations. It would be value to practitioners and researchers seeking to develop their communication skills and encourage members of staff to demonstrate improved results. It was proposed that managements should concentrate on effective communication systems in order to enhance productivity of employees in Burie Kool and Mineral Water Company.
