Developing Clean And Renewable Energy Resources Has Become A Crucial Global Concern Due To The Combined Challenges Of Energy Scarcity And Environmental Pollution. The Widespread Production Of Hydrogen, Which Is Regarded As The Energy Carrier Of The Future, Still Faces Economic Challenges. To Address This, There Is A Need For Low-Cost Synthetic Designs To Create Electro catalysts That Can Facilitate The Hydrogen Evolution Reaction (Her). In This Study, A Simple And Efficient Electrochemical Deposition Method Was Used To Directly Fabricate A Series Of Nis/Cuo Heterostructures And Its Individual Components Copper Oxide (Cuo) And Nis Sulfide (Cus) As Low-Cost Catalysts For Her On A Nickel Foam (Nf)Substrate. Sem And Xrd Were Utilized To Examine The Morphology, And Structure Of The Prepared Electrodes. The X-Ray Diffraction Analysis Confirmed The Formation Of The Nis/Cuo Heterostructure. In Addition, Electrochemical Methods Such As Cyclic Voltammetry (Cv), Linear Sweep Voltammetry (Lsv), Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy (Eis), And Chronoamperometry Were Employed To Modify The Nickel Foam And Investigate The Her.This Hetero structure Promoted Efficient Charge Transport And Exhibited A Synergistic Electro catalytic Effect That Facilitated The Her In Acidic And Alkaline Medium. The Optimized Hetero structure Obtained Through 200s And 600s Long Two-Step Electro depositions (Cns600), Shows Her Activity At 10 Macm-2 With Over potential Of 260 Mv In Acidic Medium And 170 Mv In Alkaline Medium. Cns600 Demonstrates An Impressive Ability To Generate Hydrogen (H2) Continuously, Maintaining Its Catalytic Activity For A Minimum Of 8 Hours In An Acidic Environment And 18 Hours In A Basic Environment. The RemarkableElectro catalytic Performance Of Nis/Cuo/Nf Can Be Attributed To The Synergistic Interaction Between Nis And Cuo, The Presence Of A Large Active Surface Area, And The High Electrical Conductivity Of The Electrode. These Desirable Characteristics Are Achieved Through The Binder-Free Synthesis Method Utilized In Its Fabrication. Based On These Advantages, Including The Rapid And Straightforward Electrode Preparation, The Proposed Electrode Is Well-Suited To Serve As A Non-Noble Metal Cathode Electrode In Her Processen_US
