Abstract
Every Human Being Needs Energy In Their Lives For Different Propose. One Of Energy Intensive Activity Is Cooking. This Cooking Energy Demand Is Mostly Fulfilled By Biomass, Natural Gas And Electricity. Solar Energy Is Also One Of The Promising Solutions For Meeting The Energy Demand. In This Paper The Performance Of Parabolic Trough Solar Collector Integrated With Phase Change Material Is Investigated For Injera Baking Application. The System Is Designed To Fulfill The Injera Demand For An Average Family Size (45 Injera). Energy Absorbed By The Parabolic Trough Collector Is Studied For Four Different Tracking Techniques Under The Climatic Conditions Of Adama. The Cylindrically Encapsulated Capsules With Nano3 Are Used For The Storage System. The Performance Of A Solar Parabolic Trough Collector And Charging Process Of The Designed Thermal Energy Storage Are Studied Using One Dimensional Explicit Finite Difference Method .The Transient Analysis Of The Ceramic Baking Pan Done Using Matlab Pdepe Solver To Compare The Heating Up Time For A Heating Fluid Type Of Shell Thermia B And Sythrem 800 Oil. The Result From Numerical Simulation Shows That Four Parabolic Trough Solar Collectors Connected In Parallel Required Fulfill The Demand And 168.1 Kg Mass Of Pcm Encapsulated In 277 Cylindrical Capsules Are Required. Polar East?? West And Horizontal East?? West Tracking Systems Were Best Appropriate For A Parabolic Trough Collector Throughout The Entire Year.
