Hybrid Vehicles Use Both A Renewable Electric Power And A Nonrenewable Gasoline Fuel To Drive The Wheel. This Enables Them To Use Less Gasoline Than Conventional Gasoline Vehicles, They Also Contribute Less Emission Of Greenhouse Gas. Hybrid Electric Vehicles Also Allows A Smaller More Efficient Engine To Be Used, Most Of Them Utilize The Concept Of Regenerative Breaking For Optimized Utilization Of Energy. The Main Objective Of This Thesis Is To Model And Simulate A Transmission System For Four-Wheel Hybrid Electric Bajaj By Using Matlab/Simu link. Initially The Model Of Components Was Created By Using Matlab/Simu link And The Full Vehicle System Model Was Created. In This Paper A Conventional Bajaj Quet And Hybrid Bajaj Quet Model Was Developed By Using Matlab/Simu link Environment. The Model Was Created To Investigate The Speed And Fuel Consumption Variation Or Difference. Individual Parts Like Battery, Motor Dc/Dc Convertors, Regenerative Braking Systems Are Modeled And Analyzed. From The Simulation It Is Observed That The Hybrid Vehicle Shows Great Advantage Over The Conventional.en_US
