dc.description.abstractOne of the best sources of clean, free and readily available renewable energy is solar power. Due to the growing demand for electricity, renewable energy is now the best alternative to electrification, especially for rural areas. This paper Discussed The Design, Analysis and Modeling of Solar-Based Stand-Alone System for Rural electrification (case study on hanchebi village) In SNNPR Region,. The load demand required to electrify the village is 2.3562 MWh per day for 922 households. The sizing of PV, battery and inverter was evaluated based on demand load. Part of the model is a PV module connected to a DC-DC boost converter. A fuzzy logic MPPT algorithm was used to control the output voltage of DC DC boost converter Applying fuzzy logic MPPT algorithm for the DC-DC Boost converter is 600V with the input voltage 348V at different irradiance and temperature variation and three phase output voltage supplied to the load and current are 380V and 20A respectively. A battery energy storage system "BESS" is integrated into the system to act as a backup and to keep the load powered during the night. In this design system, the inverter is primarily used to power the AC load.. System performance is evaluated and simulations are run in MATLAB/Simulink. Simulation results show that the proposed system can sufficiently meet the energy demand of hanchebi village.en_US
