dc.description.abstractThe Ever-Increasing Demand For Higher Data Rates And Reliable Wireless Communication Has Led To The Exploration Of New Technologies And Techniques To Improve Spectral Efficiency. Traditional Wireless Communication Systems, Such As Orthogonal Frequency-Division Multiplexing (OFDM) And Time-Division Multiplexing (TDM), Have Limitations In Terms Of Spectral Efficiency, Particularly In Scenarios Where The Number Of Users Is High. To Overcome This Limitation, New Techniques Such As Non-Orthogonal Multiple Access (NOMA) Have Been Proposed. To Further Improve The Spectral Efficiency Of Wireless Communication Systems, Massive MIMO And NOMA Can Be Combined To Create Massive MIMO NOMA Systems. In Such Systems, Multiple Antennas Are Used To Serve Multiple Users Using NOMA Techniques. This Paper Presents A Performance Analysis Of Massive MIMO NOMA Systems With Different Linear Receivers. The Channel Model Used Is A Rayleigh Fading Channel, And The Performance Is Evaluated For K=N And K>N Scenarios. The Complexity Of The Receivers Is Measured In Terms Of The Average Number Of Matrix Inversions And The Average Number Of Successive Interference Cancellation (SIC) Operations. The Linear Receivers Considered Are MRC, MRC With SIC (MRC-SIC), ZF, MMSE, ZF ZF-PIC, And MMSE With PIC/SIC And Others. From The Analysis In The Case Of K=N, Which Refers To The Scenario Where The Number Of Users Is Equal To The Number Of Antennas, The Best Performing Linear Receiver Is MMSE-PIC. However, In The Scenario Where K>N, The Best Performing Linear Receiver Is MRC-SIC. To Improve The Outage Probability Of The Well Performing Receiver (MMSE_PIC), MMSE_PIC_QR Which Uses QR Decomposition Principle On MMSE Detector Matrix Is Also Proposed.en_US
