dc.description.abstractAt Present, Photocatalysis Technology Based On Semiconductor Photocatalysts Has Been Proven To Be Efficient Method In Dye Wastewater Treatment. It Is The Most Promising And Cost-Effective Approaches To Reduce Environmental Hazards Significantly Related To The Industrial Development. In This Research, Znse, Co2sio4 And Their Composite Znse/Co2sio4Photocatlytic Semiconductor Were Successfully Synthesized By Solvothermal And Sol-GelMethod, Respectively. The X-Ray Diffraction, Uv??Vis Diffuse Reflectance Spectroscopy (Drs),Photoluminescence (Pl), Fourier Transform Infrared (Ft-Ir) And Scanning Electron Microscope (Sem) Were Used For Characterization Of The Synthesized Sample. The Photocatalytic Activity Of Znse, Co2sio4 And Their Composite Znse/Co2sio4 Were Evaluated For Degradation Of Methylene Blue (Mb) Dye Under Visible Light Irradiation. The Results Show That, The Degradation Potential Of Bare Znse And Co2sio4 After 75min Irradiation Was About 37.7% And 30.5% Respectively. However, The Degradation Potential Of Znse/Co2sio4 (80/20), Znse/Co2sio4 (70/30), Znse/Co2sio4 (60/40) Composite After 75minIrradiation Time Are 93.6%, 94.3%, 96.6% Respectively. Compared With Pure Znse AndCo2sio4, The Znse/Co2sio4 Composite Exhibited Excellent Photocatalytic Performance For The Degradation Of Methyl Blue Dye, Which Was Attributed To The Effective Separation Of Electron?? Hole Pairs And Improved Light Absorption Result From Coupling Of Znse And Co2sio4. Among The Three Synthesized Composites, Znse/Co2sio4 (60/40) Show Better Photocatlytic Degradation Performance Indicating That The Molar Ratio Of Znse To Co2sio4 Plays An Important Role In Determining Photocatalytic Activity. Furthermore, The Photocatalytic Activity Of The Composite Photocatalyst Was Retained After Four Recycling Runs And The Result Shows That The Composite Has High Stability Under Visible Light Irradiation.en_US
