| dc.description.abstract | In this thesis research work we analyzed the impact of time delay on the dynamics of a predator-prey model with in the growth rate of the prey equation and constant rate of harvesting on both populations. We identified conditions for stable co-existence of the system. The study showed the existence of stable equilibrium point for the model with harvesting maximum profit. The result also showed that the time delay can induce a globally asymptotically stable equilibrium point in the positive quadrant can occur for the model with and without harvesting. Further,the result implies the predator and prey populations can live in coexistence. | en_US |
