Predator-Prey models have been studied for a long time. The most famous ones are the Lotka Volterra model, the Lotka-Volterra model with logistic function, and the Rosen ZweigMacArthur model. The properties of these models are well known. We analyze the population consequences of refuge use in the Lotka-Volterra model when the area where occupies the preys and predators declines. What physical capacity of refuge it influences in the existence and stability the unique equilibrium point at interior of the first quadrant. We analyze the consequences of such function.en_US
