Abstract
The Wear Resistance Is An Important Aspect That Influences The Functionality Of The Components. The Wear Tests In Dry Condition Were Performed On Maraging Steel On Pin/Disc Standard Wear Testing Machine. Wear Is One Of The Most Important Phenomena, Apart From Fatigues And Corrosion, Which Causes Replacement Of Parts In Industrial Production. This Often Results In Increase Of Losses By Deprivation Of The Surface Of Opposing Parts. This Research Work Aims To Compare The Wear Rate Of Experimental Value With Conventional On Maraging Steel. In This Study, The Dry Sliding Tri bological Performances Of Maraging Steel And Tribological Properties Of The Wear Were Investigated By Wear Test As Per Standard. The Wear Characteristics Were Performed At Constant Sliding Distance And Load 10n, 15n And 20n. The Pin On Disc Wear Test Is Used As Per As Standard; The Dry Sliding Wear Characteristics Test Of Wear Rate, The Standard Dimensions Of The Wear Specimen Is D=6mm And L=12mm. Conduct Experiment At Aastu Wear Testing Machine To Evaluate Wear Characteristics. The Researcher Studied The Wear Of Maraging Steel By Considering L9-Orthugonal Array Of Wear Parameters Such As (Time, Sliding Distance, Wear Load And Speed). The Researcher Has Compared The Wear Characteristics Of Maraging Steel. Optimized The Wear Process Parameters And Study Their Effect On Wear. The Optimum Results Were Validated. The Simulations Of Maraging Steel Experiment Results By Lsdyna Software Have Been Discussed.
