Abstract

Serious Concerns Over Energy Prices And Demand Have Been Highlighted By The Rising Usage Of Energy. This Study's Goal Is To Investigate Energy Performance Analysis In The East Africa Bottling Share Company. Examining The Energy-Consuming Equipment's Performance Is The First Step In Performing A Thorough Energy Analysis. The Factory's Utilization Of Energy And Potential In Savings Of Energy Are Analyzed In This Thesis. The Study's Foundation Is The Knowledge That There Is Highest Room For Improvement In Terms Of Energy Efficiency In The Industrial Machinery That Is Currently In Use. The Evaluation Of The Steam Boiler's Performance And Bottle Washer Performance Are Based On The Actual Measured Data And Takes Various Heat Losses Into Account. Boiler And Bottle Washer For Line One, Three And Five Efficiencies Was Typically 84.81%, 74.43%, 71.96% And 68.166%Respectively. A Portion Of The Energy That Remains Becomes Wasted As Heat In Various Forms. The Investigation Indicates That Dry Exhaust Flue Gas Is The Primary Cause Of Heat Loss. This Analysis Also Determines The Yearly Savings Prospects And Driving Electrical Motor Use. The Analysis Revealed That The Company Had Significant Potential For Energy Savings. Using Different Methods For Energy Savings, It Has Been Shown That The Industry May Save 3,716.33 Gj Annually In Heat Energy Recovered From Dry Exhaust Flue Gas To Preheat Combustion Air, As Well As140,536.91kwh Annually By Converting To Highly Efficient Motors From Traditional Motors. This Means That The Company Might Save A Total Of 8,512,785.335 Etb In Bills Annually.
