Several empirical journal have shown that corruption is an impediment to growth, as it mainly constitutes hindrance to investment. It has adverse impacts on the economy and on well-being of a society. In this study, we have investigated corruption dynamics using mathematical model. The corruption dynamics was analyzed in terms of the basic reproduction number, R0. Both local and global stability of the proposed model was investigated by linearizing and Lyapunov function approach, respectively. The analysis shows that the system has a locally asymptotically stable corruption-free equilibrium when R0 < 1. The system has locally asymptotically stable endemic equilibrium, if R0 > 1. Forming Anti-Corruption Commission which includes among other things; public awareness on the danger and consequence of corruption, transparency, accountability and very harsh effective penalties and to educating the sustainable and jailed individuals and implementing law enforcement on the Corruption can reduce corruption to a bearable level from its expansion, respectively. Numerical simulations of the study are carried out to verify the analytical results.en_US
