Dukem Sub-City Is Expanding Rapidly And This Has Brought Land Use Land Cover Conversion Into Urban Use For Different Purposes Particularly To Residential And Industrial Uses. Employing Geographic Information Systems (Gis) And Remote Sensing Techniques, Spatial Data Were Analyzed To Delineate The Extent And Distribution Of Urban Expansion Over A Specific Time Interval From1996-2024. The Primary Data Sources Were Gathered By Means Of Questionnaires And Observations In Order To Identify The Perception Of Office Employees And Community Of The Town On The Factors That Contribute A Lot For The Rapid Expansion Of Dukem.
