Abstract
Cholera Is An Epidemic Infectious Disease Caused By The Food Or Water Contaminated With The Bacterium Vibrio Cholera. In This Thesis We Extended And Analyzed Mathematical Model For Transmission Dynamic Of Cholera With Education, Vaccination And Treatment As Control Strategies. We Qualitatively Analyzed The Extended Model. In Particular,We Proved That Positivity Of Solution And Its Boundedness. The Basic Reproduction Number Without Control And With Control In Single And Combined Control Strategies Are Computed And Compared With Each Other To Assess The Possible Community Bene???Ts. Then We Studied The Stability Of Disease Free And Endemic Equilibrium Points And Also We Investigated The Sensitivity Index Of The Reproduction Number With Respect To Model Parameters. Numerical Simulation Shows That In A Unique Control Strategy, Treatment Yields The Best Results Followed By Vaccination Campaign And Education Being The Last. In Combination Of Two Controls Combination Of Education With Treatment Is Best Followed By Combination Of Treatment And Vaccination Then Combination Of Education And Vaccination Is Leas From Combination Of Two Control But It Is Best Than Single Control Strategy. We Noted That The Control Of Cholera Is Very Much Better When We Incorporated More Than One Strategies.
