Abstract

Most Of The Vehicles In Modern Times Have A Cooling System Throughout The Vehicle Interior Which Is Helpful In Cooling The Vehicle From The Heat Generated Due To Different Reasons Like The Environment Condition, Sun Light, Body Temperature, Engine Temperature And Others. The Vehicle Engine Temperature Is One Of The Main Causes Arising From Engine Compartment By The Heat Transferring Through The Wall Between The Cabin And The Engine Compartment Which Didn??T Get Enough Attention In Designing And Production Of Most Vehicles Mainly Buses. This Walls Requires A Special Design And Analysis In Order To Reduce The Heat Transferring And Maintain The Cabin Temperature While Adjusting Temperature Inside Compartment Itself Which Was The Main Objective Of This Thesis Work, Instead Of Searching For The Solution Of The Problem Which Is Already Been Created It Is Better To Reduce It From The Cause In First Place And That Is Reducing The Heat Transfer From The Engine Through Any Possible Way. So This Work Has Included The Activities Like Selecting, Designing Insulation System, Modeling, Analyzing And Experimenting. Instead Of Using Regular Insulation System, Air Flow Heat Rejection System Has Been Made Which Reduces The Heat Transfer By 80.84 % While Maintaining And Reducing Engine Inside Space Temperature By 11.6 % When Compared With The Common Type Insulation Systems. After Experimentation, This Makes The New System Better Than Other Competent Insulations And Finally The Outcome Has Brought Positive Results Which Are Maintained And Comfortable Cabin (Passenger) Space And Adjusted Engine Compartment Temperature.
