Abstract

Three-Wheelers, Commonly Known As Bajaj??S, Can Be Found All Over The World, Specifically In Asia And Africa. And They Are Used For Transporting People Or Freight. In Our Ethiopia, Three-Wheeler Vehicles Are Used As A Mode Of Transportation And Fright Sector, Particularly In Most Of All The Cities. The Objective Of This Thesis Was Focused On Designing Cylinders And Body Modification For Maxima Cargo Bajaj. Mainly To Design The Hydraulic Cylinder For Lifting Purposes During The Unloading Time And Also To Develop A Hydraulic Cylinder For 3d Maxima Cargo Bajaj Model Using Catia Software. Those Cargo Bajaj Were Used To Carry Construction Product, Perishable Goods, And All Farm Products. Almost All Cargo Bajaj That Are Assembled In Hora Adama Do Not Have A Hydraulic Lifter For Unloading Materials. Due To This, They Cannot Give A Fast Service During Unloading Time. During The Study, Lifting Analysis Maximum Von Misses Stress And Total Deformation Was Also Carried Out By Ansys Explicit Dynamic Analysis For Modelling And Analysis Of The Hydraulic Cylinder. The Model Was Analyzed By Explicit Dynamic Analysis Using Ansys Workbench 16. To Fulfil The Purpose Of This Thesis, Work ToImprove The Performance Of The Hydraulic Cylinder In Terms Of Load Capacity And Service Life. Modeling Of The Mechanism Using Catia, Making Stress Analysis By Ansiys And Finally Making Simulation Using Catia V5 Software. Finally, A Double Acting Hydraulic Cylinder Was Successfully Designed And Analyzed. Therefore, The Design Of A Double Acting Hydraulic Cylinder Was Achieved And Is Ready For Manufacturing.
