dc.description.abstractWater Spray Cooling System Is One Of The Most Common Manufacturing Process In The Field Of Industry To Maintain Required Product. The Main Purpose Of This Study Is To Optimize The Cooling Parameters Of High Density Polyethylene Pipe During Manufacturing In Order To Minimize The Defect Of Scraps In Amhara Pipe Factory. The Study Is Based On Different Objectives, That Is, To Analyze & Design Of Water Bath Components, To Determine The Effect Of Cooling Parameters On Response Values Of Each Run Experiment, To Determine And Analyze Most Affecting Cooling Parameters In Order To Get Minimum Ovality, Deforming And Surface Roughness And To Estimate The Relative Contributions Of Each Control Factors On The Measured Response. The Methods For This Study Are Data Collection, Selection Of Materials, Size Determination, Design Of Components And Modeling, Sample Size Selection And Optimization Techniques. The Finding Shows That Optimum Combination Of Control Factor For Deforming Feed Rate 60.9 Rpm, Water Flow20.42l/Min And Haul Off 0.22, For Ovality Feed Rate 60.9 Rpm, Water Flow 18.56 L/Min And Haul Off 0.68m/Min, For Surface Roughness Feed Rate 60.9 Rpm, Water Flow 25.51 L/Min And Haul Off 0.22m/Min. It Is Recommend That Defect Or Scrap Product Could Be Optimized By Taguchi Doe. The Researcher Recommended That It Is A Good Way Of Implement An Optimum Condition Of Cooling Parameters In The Field Of Water Spray Cooling Process Before Wound Off The Pipes.en_US
