Abstract

Jis 3302 Grade Steel Sheet Metal Is Wide Area Of Usage In Various Industry And Bending Processes. One Of The Most Significant Design Criteria Of Bending Methods For Steel Sheet Metal Is Springback, Which Can Be Basically Defined As Elastic Recovery Of The Material During Unloading. So, The Springback Effect On The Sheet Metal Must Be Taken Into Consideration In The Bending Process. Also, The Amount Of Springback Should Be Identified In Order To Produce Bent Sheet Metal Material Within Tolerable Acceptance Limits. However, The Importance Of Springback Effect Analysis On Jis 3302 Grade Steel Sheet Material To Overcome This Problem, Heat Treatment Is Applied To The Specimen Material To Improve Tensile Properties. Basically, Heat Treatments Have Significant Effect On The Mechanical Properties Of Steel. In This Study, The Effect Of Various Heat Treatments On Springback Characteristics Of Jis 3302 Grade Steel Sheet Metal Studied By Using Experimental And Finite Element Analysis. Also, The Influence Of Directional Rolling Angle On The Springback Should Be Known To Produce The Acceptable Product During The Bending Process. For This Purpose, Three Different Rolling Directions Are Selected. In This Research, An Experimental And Fe Simulation Study Has Carried Out On V-Bending Die (900), With The Dimensions Of Specimen 150x40x2mm And Astm Standard For Tensile Testing Respectively. Microstructure, Microhardness Values And Comparison Of The Finite Element (Fe) Simulation And Experimental Results Are Given. The Output Showed That, Before Heat Treatment Workpiece Has The Highest Value Of Load And Maximum Value Of Springback. Whereas The Annealed Work Piece Has The Lowest Load And Lowest Springback Value. Also, The Experimental Method Agreed With The Fe Simulation Results By Maximum 1% Differences. The Influence Of Heat Treatments On Springback Was Discussed In Detail
