Abstract

Fuels Derived From Fossil Fuels Are Essential For The Rapidly Growing Industrial, Agricultural, And Transportation Sectors. These Fuels Are Growing Scarcer By The Day Due To The Rapidly Increasing Demand For Them. Furthermore, Burning Fossil Fuels Releases Number Of Hazardous Gases That Are Harmful To The Environment. Petrol Engine Is Mostly Used In The Transportation Industry Due To Its Lighter Weight Which Affects Fuel Efficiency And Overall Performance And Provide Better Acceleration. However, This Engine Frequently Produces High Exhaust Emissions. To Meet The Strict Emission Standards Using Alternative Fuels With Cerium Oxide Nano particles Are Effective Solutions In Improving Petrol Engine??S Operation And Their Nature Of Exhaust. Methanol Is An Alternative Fuel And Has The Ability To Decreases Emission And Increases Performance Simultaneously Due Its Property Like Presence Of Oxygen, Higher Vaporization Of Latent Heat, And Having High Flame Speed. Combining Nano particles With Its Fuel Increases Thermo physical And Physicochemical Properties. The Study Investigated The Impact Of Premixing Methanol And Cerium Oxide(Ceo2) Nano particle In Petrol Engines Performance And Emission Targeting Optimized Performance And Emission. The Optimization Was Done By Applying Rsm Method Through Analysis Of Different Ratio Or Percentage Of Premixed Methanol, Gasoline And Cerium Oxide. From The Experiment And Rsm Analysis Optimized Percentages Or Amounts Of The Control Factors Were Obtained. The Blend Of Methanol And Gasoline With Nano particles Were Developed. Optimization Results From Rsm Indicated That Optimized Values Of Power, Torque, Sfc, Hc, Co And Nox Were Obtained With Values Of 0.9457 Kw, 2.3076 N, 0.1948%, 0.1077 %, 0.0347 And 7.9311 Ppm With Load Of 100.4538 %, Methanol Blend Percentage Of 10 % And A Gasoline Mix Of 90.1469 %.
