Structural Plan Implementation In Addis Abeba, Integration Of Urban Planning And Design In The Case Of Nifas Silk Lafto Sub City.

Abstract

The thesis was prepared to study the implementation of structure plan with respect to urban planning and design integration with characteristics of ST plan implementation to figure out the major factor which affect its implementation and its causes and come up with the basic concept of urban planning and design solution. And this issue is the main concern of the society to get all the benefits from the integration of urban planning and design. The research had applied explanatory research design with qualitative method that had been used to explain the relationship among different variables under the study. And form the qualitatively and quantitatively analyzed data; the major findings of the specific objectives were answered. All in one the major factor which affects the integration of urban planning and design were lack of strong implementation strategies and ethics. The study area needs improvisation depending on the characteristics and the factor it affects. So, N/S/L sub city IIDCPCB should took various measurements and improve all the defects though a lot of investigation and addressed the communities want by further working on the integration of urban planning and design implementation characteristic and formulate a heavy-duty implementation strategies and ethics based on a strong rule and regulation.
