Abstract
The Overall Goal Of This Research Was To Create An Integrated Riverside Development Platform Centered On Conserving The Riverfront?�?S Utilitarian, Social, And Environmental Features In The Case Of The Huluka River In Ambo Town. The Principal Contaminant That Affects The River, As Well As The Town's Whole Water, Is Riverside Informal Construction Andsettlements.The Study's Major Objective Is To Generate Integrated Waterfront Develop Pment Platformthat Preserves The Riverfront's Utilitarian, Social, And Environmental Features. Both Primary And Secondary Data Sources Are Employed To Perform The Research. The Primary Data Was Gathered Via A Questionnaire And An Interview On The Affects Of Garbage Along A Riverside Development And The Influence Of Informal Settlements Along The River. Based On The Difficulties Found, The Data Was Examined Using Percentages And Presented In Tabular Form. The Research Focused On How To Examine Previous Development Along A Riverside In The Town, Present Development Along A Riverside, Assessing The Implications Of Problems Associated With Riverside Development, And Creating A Sustainable Riverside. Riverside Projects Provide Various Advantages, Including Improving The Environment And Water Quality, Giving Tourism Possibilities, Improving Social Services, And Increasing Social Contact .As A Result, The River Has Lost Its Symbolic Value For The Community. To Encour Age Sustainable Riverbank Development, Advanced Development In Budget Allocation, Capacity Building, Legislative Framework, Awareness Generation, And Stakeholder Participation Is Required. To Concentrate Social, Economic, Physical, Environmental, Political, And Cultural Functions, Planning And Establishing A Variety Of Stages To Generate New Projects Is Necessary.Finally, Recommendations Were Made For This Study, As Well As A Case Design Solution
