Abstract

The Investigation Of Hybrid Composite Has Been Amalgamated And High Structural Performance For Composite And Thus It Gain Has Attraction By Many Researchers. The Paper Presents Fabrication And Analysis Of Mechanical Properties Of Textile Waste/Glass Fiber Hybrid Composite Material. In This Study, The Primary Work Was Fabricated A New Class Of General Purpose Resin (Resin Gp) Based On Hybrid Reinforced Composites Used By Recycle Woven Textile Wastes Fabric Composite For Lower Structural Application And Laminated With Chopped Glass Fiber Hybrid Composite. In This Work Composite Materials Were Fabricated By Hand Lay-Up Method And Pressing Strategy. Five Samples Were Prepared Which Is Pure Resin, Textile Waste Fiber Only Layer By Layer (T/T/T), Textile Waste/Glass Fiber/Textile Waste Layer By Layer (T/G/T), Glass Fiber/Textile Waste/Glass Fiber Layer By Layer (G/T/G) And Glass Fiber Only Layer By Layer (G/G/G). The Mold Was Prepared Locally In The Workshop For Test Sample Preparation. The Specimen Was Cut From The Manufactured Test Agreeing To The Astm Standard For Mechanical Properties Test Such As Tensile Test, Flexural Test, Impact Test And Micro Hardness Test. Comparatively Effect Of Textile Waste Fiber Strengthened Was Observed And That Created Composite Essentially Advancement In Mechanical Properties From Pure Resin Composite Such As Tensile Strength Was Improved By 31.1% And Modulus Of Elasticity Was Increased By 38.3%. Flexural Strength Of Sample G/T/G Is 95% Greater Than From Separated Composite Of T/T/T. The Flexural Modulus Of The Pure Resin Is Given As 45.54gpa. The Flexural Modulus Of G/T/G Is Showed 32.63gpa. During Impact Test, The Strengthened Textile Wastes Fabric Decreased By 18.6% With Increasing Glass Fiber Content In Composite, While Stiffness At The Same Time Decreased. G/T/G Is The Highest Water Absorbed Hybrid Composite Sample Because Of Have High Void Content While The Smallest Water Absorption Is G/G/G Composite In The Salty Water. When The Submersion Time Of Composites Is Expanded, A Noteworthy Amount Of Water Absorbed; Coming About Within The Swelling Of The Fiber Until The Cell Walls Is Saturated With Water.
